The Conair Instant Heat Flat Iron is the first flat iron I have ever bought. I was a little hesitant because I come from the old days of burnt hair from curling and crimping irons. Well times and technology have changed and I must say I LOVE THIS FLAT IRON! I have medium to thick slightly wavy hair that has only ever looked good after coming out of the hair salon after a expensive cut and blow out. My hair is amazingly shiny and pin straight from using this iron. You can now see what my hair really looks like: shiny and soft with layers.
I have several straightening irons to get the kinks out of my frizz-in-the-humidity hair, and I can attest to the fact that high cost does not necessarily mean a better outcome! A $120 iron sits at the bottom of my closet and never gets use! This Conair model does everything at a budget price. It’s big, bulky, but it is brilliant!
